Data cross-checked. Computed from the daily net flows of every US spot Bitcoin ETF published by TFTC, tftc.io/bitcoin-etf-flows (CC BY 4.0), which compiles the issuers' disclosures. ETF flows: IBIT, about 45% of all fund flows, matches iShares' own figures (NAV x change in shares outstanding) on 100% of 693 trading days; the quarter-end bitcoin holdings that IBIT, GBTC and ARKB report to the SEC move with the cumulative flows, net of fees, within 0.79% of holdings in each of 23 fund-quarters (median 0.04%); the fund-by-fund flows add up to the published daily total (95% of days within 0.30% of gross flows). Checked 2026-10-18. Data status

Net flow (day) = sum over every US spot Bitcoin ETF of (shares created − shares redeemed) × NAV per share. Cumulative net flows = running sum since 2024-01-11. Net flows in BTC = net flow ÷ BTC price at the US close.
A spot Bitcoin ETF issues new shares when investors put money in and buys bitcoin with it; when investors cash out, shares are redeemed and the fund's bitcoin is sold or handed back. The net flow is the dollar value of shares created minus shares redeemed on a trading day, all US spot funds combined.
Green bars are days on which more money came in than went out; red bars, days with net outflows. The line in the upper panel adds every day since the launch on 11 January 2024, so it shows how much new money the funds have taken in overall.
Flows describe what fund investors did, after the fact. Large inflows have often come during rising markets, but a day's flow does not say where the price goes next, and the creations and redemptions are settled by authorised participants, sometimes a day later.
